Nurse Manager - Full-time 40hrs/wk, day shift, no holidays/weekends required.

Job Summary

• The Nurse Manager is a management/leadership position responsible for promoting patient-centered care.
• Accountable for the unit's operations and patient care outcomes.
• Entry-level leadership position overseeing 64 beds across 2 units.
• Reports directly to the Psych Director.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required / Master's degree preferred.
• Certification in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years Inpatient acute care Psych experience.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage budget.
• Current license to practice Nursing in Massachusetts and BLS certification.

Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients.
• Develops and maintains clinical practice standards.
• Participates in unit-based CQI activities.
• Collaborates with other departments for patient care.
• Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care management.
