Job Description

Barry Bagels is a family-owned and operated bakery and deli in Kettering, Ohio. We are looking for an experienced food-service employee with strong leadership skills to serve as morning or afternoon shift leader.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of restaurant experience
• Thorough understanding of commercial kitchen operations
• Basic cooking & baking skills
• Ability to lead others and delegate tasks
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve
• Strong sense of teamwork
• Excellent attention to detail
• Works well under pressure
• Thorough cleaning skills

Responsibilities:

• Preparing food items for the daily operations
• Preparing all menu items for counter service
• Interacting with customers to ensure a pleasant dining experience
• Operating point-of-sale system
• Ensuring all daily tasks are completed
• Delegating tasks to other employees
• Maintaining a clean work area

Benefits:

• Pay ranging from $14 - $18/hour. Compensation range is equivalent to base pay plus tips.
• Guaranteed compensation of base pay of $14/hour (plus tips) after a probationary training period and determination of qualification is established.

Pay : $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
