Company Overview i9 Sports offers youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics for kids ages 6-11 in today’s most popular sports such as flag football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and baseball. Job Summary The Flag Football Instructor/Official is a critical role on any field; responsible for enforcing rules while also cultivating a positive culture, acting as an on-field coach, and advocating for the programs. This role has a direct impact on players, coaches, and spectators each and every game day.
We are currently hiring for our Fall season at the following venue:
- Kentridge High School (Sundays, 9/21-10/26)
Responsibilities - Study and enforce i9 Sports rules and safety for all players. Stripes and whistle provided by employee.
- Instruct players during practice using age-appropriate practice plans developed by i9 Sports.
- Keep time and score during the game; manage an age-appropriate level of instruction and competition.
- Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications - Excellent communication skills (Email, text, verbal, written). Responsiveness is critical.
- Sports officiating, playing or coaching experience is a must.
- Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and trustworthiness.
- Situational awareness, attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as a team.
- Commit to working weekends for the full duration of the 7-week season.
- Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
- Must have reliable transportation and be dependable. We do not tolerate callouts.
Salary range is $17.00 - $20.00, DOE
