Position: WordPress Developer with AEM Experience Location: San Jose, CA (onsite) Duration: 6+months Contract Position. We are seeking a highly skilled WordPress Developer with a strong background in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess advanced WordPress development skills (70%) and a solid understanding of AEM (30%). This role will involve creating, maintaining, and optimizing WordPress sites while integrating AEM functionalities to enhance our digital experiences. Key Responsibilities WordPress Development (70%): Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins. Collaborate with designers to implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces. Optimize WordPress websites for speed, performance, and SEO. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress websites. Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, best practices, and security standards. Implement custom post types and taxonomies as needed. Conduct website migrations and ensure data integrity. AEM Development (30%): Assist in the integration of AEM components and templates into existing WordPress sites. Collaborate with the AEM team to ensure seamless content management and delivery. Support the development of AEM workflows, templates, and components. Implement and manage digital assets using AEM's asset management tools. Participate in AEM project planning and strategy sessions. Required Skills and Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio showcasing advanced skills. 2 years of experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). Technical Skills: Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL. Strong understanding of WordPress coding standards and best practices.
