Salary: 89,700 - 162,150 USD per year Requirements: ~ A Bachelor's degree and 10 years of prior relevant experience, or if no degree, additional related work experience in Air Traffic Control can be substituted. Substantial knowledge of aviation operations and/or airspace management derived from experience as a certified Air Traffic Controller (for the FAA) or Pilot is required. ~10 years of applicable experience in a staff environment preparing written documents, memos, and briefs. ~ Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. ~ Ability to travel up to 10% of the time. Responsibilities: I will review requests for charting, airspace development, and management. I will handle procedures development and review, monitor special events impacting the National Airspace System (NAS), and provide traffic management support. I will manage Special Use Airspace (SUA), oversee Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) operations, Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR), procedural waiver reviews, and document change proposals (DCP). I will ensure that timelines and handbook requirements are met to support NAS Safety. Technologies: ~ Support More: At Leidos, we currently have openings for Unmanned Aircraft Systems Air Traffic Control Specialists to work in our Ft. Worth, Texas office. This is an exciting opportunity for me to utilize my experience in support of the NISC III mission. In this mission, I provide daily support for the NISC IV contract, specifically to various Air Traffic Control Towers, Terminal Radar Approach Controls (TRACON), Air Route Traffic Control Centers (ARTCC), and FAA Air Traffic Organization headquarters and Regional offices. Pay Range: The pay range for this position is $89,700.00 - $162,150.00. This range is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors that will be considered in extending an offer include responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreements, or other laws.
