Position Summary
As a Senior Professional Staff Nurse II in our Recovery Room, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and driving positive patient outcomes. You’ll be a leader, collaborator, and advocate — setting the standard for quality care while supporting your team and patients through every step of the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership:
Serve as a role model and unit leader in clinical expertise, education, and evidence-based practice. Lead or participate in successful team initiatives and shared governance.
Relationship Building:
Foster a healthy, respectful workplace. Promote cultural awareness and address challenges like horizontal violence and impairment with professionalism.
Patient-Centered Care:
Apply the nursing process within a Relationship-Based Care model. Develop holistic care plans, communicate effectively, and build healing relationships with patients and families.
Quality & Innovation:
Identify opportunities for improvement and lead or support initiatives that enhance patient care and workforce well-being.
Mentorship & Growth:
Passionately support the development of others. Precept students and new hires, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
What We’re Looking For
A Registered Nurse with a strong clinical foundation (2-more years of critical care experience) and a passion for leadership, collaboration, and innovation.

*Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.
