Job Description
Position Summary:
Seeking a Comply-to-Connect (C2C) & Endpoint Policy Analyst to support the DoD CIO (CS) in the strategic oversight of the Department of Defense’s Comply-to-Connect (C2C) Program. C2C is a comprehensive framework that leverages Zero Trust principles to secure the DoD Information Network (DoDIN). The program continuously verifies the security posture of devices seeking access and enforces strict compliance with defined security policies before granting network connectivity. Through continuous authentication, dynamic authorization, posture assessment, automatic remediation, and micro-segmentation, C2C minimizes attack surfaces, enhances threat detection, and safeguards sensitive data across the DoDIN. Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain C2C requirements, policies, and guidance.
• Engage with DoD Component stakeholders and vendors.
• Map tool capabilities to implementation outcomes.
• Review reporting data to support metrics development and trend analysis.
• Develop and deliver briefings, talking points, and presentations for senior leaders.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure deliverables are met on schedule. Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or IT; or 14+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Experience in endpoint security or network security.
• Experience writing, reviewing, and publishing policies and guidance.
• Experience supporting and communicating with senior leaders.
• Knowledge of DoD organizations, cybersecurity policies, and principles.
• Knowledge of NAC, device authentication and authorization, and EDR capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track tasks, and drive deliverables. Desired Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in the DoD or with a Military Command.
• Prior U.S. Armed Forces service.
• Familiarity with CATMS.
• Experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE), Forescout, or Microsoft E5/G5 (MDE, Intune, Entra ID, Purview, etc.).
• Experience with requirements solicitation.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust principles.
