Job Description
The Sr. Designer will develop and deliver projects from conception to construction.
Responsibilities include:
• Provide project design leadership and manage the design development of specific projects
• Plans and executes the presentation of project designs in graphic form
• Coordination with principal’s, clients, contractors, consultants, vendors, and employees
• Oversee the project design and ensure that the designs fit with the client’s expectations
• Select all furnishings and finishes for approval by the principal-in-charge
• Maintain the project’s overall design direction and aesthetic
• Manage the delivery of the project, schedule, and budget
• Manage and the training/mentoring of design staff
• Oversee installation and contract administration
• Prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, etc. Qualifications
• 7-10 years minimum experience
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• Thorough knowledge in AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, Revit, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Sketch-Up, Autodesk 3D, and InDesign are a plus.
• Should have the ability to travel 10-20%.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
• NCIDQ certification preferred.
• Detailed oriented with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
• A team player with the ability to supervise creative and administrative talent.
