We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, managing reservations, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional customer service. This role is crucial in setting the tone for the dining experience and requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with menus.
• Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort.
• Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff regarding guest needs and special requests.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
• Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Support food service operations as needed, including assisting with takeout orders or special events.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the dining experience.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A passion for food service and guest relations, ensuring every guest feels valued during their visit.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Your hours would be from Wednesday - Sunday in the evenings from around 4:00/4:30 - 8 PM and possibly from 12:30 - 8 PM on some weekends.

All hours mentioned are not fixed and may vary depending on volume.
