Glass Unlimited Inc., is a contracting business located in Madison, Indiana specializing in residential and commercial glass and window installations. Including, but not limited to, residential window and door replacements, shower enclosures, mirrors, commercial storefront and doors. Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Glazing Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of glazing and/or finish carpentry experience. A background in installing various types of glass, windows, and other glazing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings is preferred, but not required. Experience with finish carpentry, and exterior aluminum work is also preferred. Attention to detail, precision, and a commitment to quality craftsmanship are essential for success in this role. We are seeking a committed and dependable person looking for a long term career at Glass Unlimited. For the right fit, we are willing to train as needed as long as a candidate has a strong base set of construction skills.

Responsibilities:

· Install various types of glass, including but not limited to windows, doors, and storefront systems.

· Fabricate, bend, and install various exterior aluminum for window trim, sills, etc.

· Measure and cut glass to fit specified dimensions using appropriate tools and techniques.

· Assemble and install frames, seals, gaskets, caulking, and hardware as required for each project.

· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or defects in the installation process.

· Work collaboratively with other team members

· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as a Glazing Installer, Finish Carpentry, or similar role, with a minimum of 3 years in the field.

· Strong knowledge of glass types, glazing techniques, and installation methods are preferred but not required.

· Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.

· Excellent attention to detail and precision in measurements and installations.

· Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

· Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy glass panels and equipment.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Experience working with specialized glazing systems, such as curtain walls or storefronts.

· General construction knowledge and skills.

· Experience with scaffolding and working at heights.
