We are looking for a dedicated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our team and help provide outstanding patient care. Job Description : The Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) will work alongside the dentist to assist with patient care, ensure the treatment area is prepared, and help keep the office running smoothly. We are looking for a team player who is professional, organized, and passionate about delivering great care in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment. Key Responsibilities : Assisting the Dentist : Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, extractions, and other treatments. Patient Care : Ensure patient comfort by preparing them for procedures, explaining treatments, and providing reassurance. Radiographs : Take and process dental x-rays as needed, ensuring patient safety and proper film quality. Sterilization and Infection Control : Clean, sterilize, and organize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols. Dental Materials : Prepare and mix dental materials such as impression materials, cements, and other substances required during procedures. Patient Education : Provide patients with instructions on post-treatment care, oral hygiene, and preventive care. Administrative Support : Assist with patient charting, scheduling, and other administrative tasks as needed. Inventory Management : Monitor and maintain dental supplies and equipment, ensuring the office is fully stocked and prepared for appointments. Qualifications : Certification : Current RDA license, with all necessary certifications as required by state laws. Experience : Prior experience as an RDA is preferred, but not required. Knowledge : Familiarity with dental office procedures, dental materials, and infection control practices. Communication : Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and team members. Attention to Detail : Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean, sterile work environment. Multitasking : Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor. Technical Skills : Proficiency with dental office software and radiographic equipment.
