Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity to provide specialized instruction to exceptional students in a K-12 school setting, focusing on academic and social skill development aligned with each students Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). The role is based in the Miami area and spans the full school year, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction that reflects the unique needs, interests, learning styles, temperaments, and cultural backgrounds of Pre-K and special education students.
• Serve as backup for the Director during their absence.
• Collaborate with educational staff to support student progress and follow IEP guidelines.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training as required.

Qualifications:

• Possession of or eligibility for a Professional Educators Certificate in Primary/Elementary Education, ESE.
• Bachelors degree in education, early childhood, special education, or a related field.
• Required Reading Endorsement and ESOL certification, or willingness to enroll in courses to obtain these endorsements.
• Completion of Department of Children & Family Child Care Training.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and internet research tools.

Schedule: Full school year, 40 hours per week
