Paralegal

Paralegal - SPANISH SPEAKING 

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in various aspects of legal work, including research, drafting documents, and managing case files, with a focus on personal injury and divorce litigation.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and other legal proceedings
• Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and contracts
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
• Maintain and organize case files and documentation
• Communicate with clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to gather information and provide updates
• Assist in the discovery process, including preparing and reviewing discovery requests and responses
• Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines
• Translate documents and communicate with Spanish-speaking clients as needed

Qualifications

• Paralegal certification or equivalent experience
• Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
• Experience in personal injury and divorce litigation is highly desirable
• Strong research and writing skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research tools
• Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken, is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
