divh2Driver Job/h2pAs a Driver, you are responsible for the safe and timely movement of tractor trailers configured for mobile medical imaging. May be required to wash/clean tractor/trailer, exterior/interior. Performs minor maintenance. Complies with standards and procedures set forth by Akumin as it relates to the set-up and take down of unit(s). Complies with FMCSR. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:/pulliTransports unit(s) / Pre- and Post-trip inspections / Set-up and Take-down procedures./liliCompletes required documentation and Exp. reporting./liliPerforms wash / minor repairs./liliMisc. - Wait time, Tractor srvs./li/ulpPosition Requirements:/pulliHigh School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred./liliValid commercial drivers license in the state of residence and DOT Medical./lili1 yr. commercial tractor trailer exp., FMCSR knowledge, basic computer skills./liliAble to work any schedule Monday Sunday, including 2nd 3rd shifts./liliLocal travel is required./liliAll candidates who accept an offer for employment will be required to successfully complete a pre-employment background check and drug screen as a condition of employment./li/ulpPhysical Requirements:/pulliThe employee may be exposed a strong magnetic field or environmental hazards such as exposure to noise, and travel. Standard office environment./liliMore than 50% of the time: Sit, stand, and walk. Repetitive movement of hands, arms and legs. See, speak and hear to be able to communicate with patients./liliLess than 50% of the time: Stoop, kneel or crawl. Climb and balance.
