Jackpocket, now part of DraftKings, is the first mobile lottery app in the U.S. that offers players a secure way to order official state lottery tickets, such as Powerball, Mega Millions, and more, via their smartphones. We're creating a more convenient, fun, and responsible way to play the lottery by modernizing the $300B global lottery market with a mobile platform that everyone, including grandma, can feel good about.
Jackpocket is looking for Operations Associates to support our lottery operations at our local fulfillment center. At Jackpocket, Operations Associates are the backbone of our business and are integral to our continued success. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, resourceful, and ready to take on new situations each day. Candidates must be available for various shifts (AM/PM) including weekends and holidays. The starting pay rate for this role is $18 per hour. Benefits include individual health insurance plans, 10 PTO days, and 401K matching. This is a full-time role reporting to the Operations Manager.
What you'll do as an Operations Associate - Manage and process customer lottery ticket orders and redemptions at our local fulfillment center, ensuring accuracy from start to finish.
- Keep our systems updated with real-time customer order statuses and tracking information.
- Streamline and organize workflows to meet daily objectives and hit deadlines.
- Maintain the smooth operation of printing and scanning equipment, ensuring everything runs flawlessly.
- Step in to support various operational projects as they arise, contributing to the team's overall success.
What you'll bring - Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule, including weekends and holidays with a proven track record of reliable attendance.
- Experience in fast-paced environments, with a knack for technology and familiarity with common software, including Microsoft Excel.
- Self-starter mentality and sharp attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and tackle tasks independently.
- Exceptional customer service, communication, and time management skills.
- Physical ability to stand and walk frequently and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs, ensuring smooth operations in a fast-moving fulfillment setting.
