Mechanical Assembly
2 years Prior experience in assembly of complex sheet metal fabricated products or enclosures is required.

Duties:

Assemble large, complex parts according to work instructions and/or blueprints.
Install nuts, bolts, rivets etc by hand or with hand tools.
Apply masking tape, rubber plugs & caps to sheet metal parts, hardware and holes prior to parts being powder coated. Removing caps, plugs & tape after coating has been done.
Hang parts on conveyor line & remove parts.
Identify, count, and label parts.
Package finished parts for shipping.
Move pallets with pallet jack.
Load and Unload Powder Coating Conveyor Line of sheet metal fabricated parts.

Requirements:
To be considered, Applicants for this position should:

Be able to read sheet metal shop blueprints;
have experience assembling complex parts;
have experience using power tools;
identify metric and standard hardware;
be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers as needed;
have good basic math skills (addition & subtraction);
be on time to work every day;
work efficiently with speed and urgency, and attention to detail;
have strong mechanical skills;
be able to take direction well;
be able to lift 75-100 lbs, stand, walk, sit, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, reach and perform repetitive hand and finger movements;
be able to work in cold or hot temperatures in plant.
2 years experience preferred
