Mechanical Assembly - 1st Shift

Join a leading manufacturer of snow and ice control equipment!We're hiring aHeavy Equipment Assemblerto build mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems for salt spreaders and dump bodies. What You'll Do

• Assemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems using blueprints and work instructions.

• Use hand tools, power tools, and torque equipment to secure parts.

• Fit, trim, and align components to meet specifications.

• Inspect finished assemblies for quality and functionality.

• Collaborate with welders, painters, and other production staff.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

• Experience in mechanical or heavy equipment assembly.

• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.

• Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs and standing for long periods.

• Skilled with hand and power tools.

• Manufacturing or general labor experience preferred.

Work Schedule

• First Shift:5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (typically 10-hour shifts - Overtime after the shift)

• Overtime: Occasional Saturdays

• Industrial setting with heavy machinery, welding, and hydraulic systems. PPE required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lindenwood, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
