The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

At CUFC numerous ongoing projects require integration and coordination between departments.  The Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects related to fertility services. This role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring that projects are completed successfully. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in and familiarity with the different departments and systems.  The ideal candidate should also have experience in healthcare project management, excellent organizational skills, and a passion for improving fertility care.

Responsibilities

The portfolio of projects that will be overseen by the Manager, Business Operations will span four domains:  (1) operations, (2) administration, (3) procurement, and (4) information technology.

Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Operations: Facilities management including equipment and structural upgrades, new space utilization, maintaining licensing, integration of paperwork into EMR and updating as needed, ensuring adherence to workflows.
  2. Administration: Integration of workflow changes within and across departments, streamlining processes.
  3. Procurement: In coordination with the appropriate managers, the PM will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and implementing systems to be used in each of our departments.
  4. Information technology: Working with the IT department to ensure IT systems have optimal reliability and speed.  Integrating outside vendors to facilitate automated uploading of results. EMR/EPIC

Overall competencies include:

  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and ensure timely completion of all project milestones.
  • Team Coordination: Work closely with medical staff, administrative teams, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution and effective communication.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure the highest standards of patient care and service delivery.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management, highlighting progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices in fertility services.
  • Assisting Division Chief, COO, and Medical Director with planning and coordination of important events and meetings

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor???s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 4 years of management experience in the healthcare sector, with a focus on fertility or reproductive health services.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master???s degree is preferred.
