Full-Time | In-Person | Salary: $50,000–$70,000 (DOE) + PERS Retirement

Position Overview

Alpine Academy is hiring full-time High School Teachers for the 2025–2026 school year in the areas of Special Education , Math , Science , English , Social Studies , and Electives . We’re looking for educators who are passionate about teaching, skilled at differentiation, and committed to helping every student thrive.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging, standards-aligned lessons
• Support diverse learners with differentiated instruction and interventions
• For Special Education: develop and manage IEPs, collaborate with general education teachers, and ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements
• Monitor and report on student progress, behavior, and attendance
• Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate regularly with colleagues, families, and support staff
• Participate in school-wide events, PD, and improvement efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related subject (required)
• Valid Nevada teaching license or eligibility to obtain one (required)
• SPED candidates must have or be working toward a Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience in a high school setting (preferred)
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to equity, growth mindset, and high standards
