The Charleston Battery is looking for a graphic design intern. Come join the team! The Charleston Battery is looking for passionately driven undergraduate or graduate students to join our Marketing team for the 2025 Season. This individual will be responsible for assisting our Creative Manager in managing creative needs and content creation. This is a seasonal position that can start as early as February 2025 and end as late as August 2025. Responsibilities: Assist in social media concept development (content creation, storyboarding, graphic ideation, etc.) Assist in gameday responsibilities similar to those of our Creative Manager Assist in graphic design and creation of all forms of content for the Battery (email design, graphic design, advertisement design, etc.) Proactively seek creative and unique ways to drive affinity for the Battery Qualifications: Knowledge of basic marketing concepts Experience with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, etc.) Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficient in Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms, Slides, etc.) Passion for soccer/sports marketing Willingness to learn Creative thinker, strong collaborator, and problem-solver Requirements: Willingness and ability to work long hours, including late nights and weekends throughout the duration of the season Ability to arrange personal housing and transportation at own expense Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time in adverse weather conditions, including rain and heat Ability to interact professionally with Front Office staff, players, and coaches Must be available to work most home games and other assigned events throughout the duration of the internship Eligible to receive college credit *Please be prepared to provide a portfolio of previous work upon request.
