Position: German Preschool Teacher

Location: 2705 Pico Boulevard, Santa Monica, CA 90405

Compensation: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Status: Full-Time

Role Overview:

As a German Preschool Teacher at Our Center, you'll be crucial in delivering an exceptional educational experience. Our preschool features Spanish, German, and English immersion programs for children aged 2-6, fostering exploration, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. Your expertise and enthusiasm will contribute to a dynamic, collaborative teaching team dedicated to nurturing and guiding our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in German.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance educational programs.
• Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Preferred: Experience in Early Childhood Education (ECE) and related units (minimum one year).
• AA Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) from the US or equivalent international credentials.
• Fluent in English and German (both written and verbal).
• Experience with Infant Toddler Units is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Tech savvy with computer skills.
• Must meet state requirements, including fingerprinting, TB testing, immunizations, CPR/First Aid certification, Mandated Reporter, and pesticide training.
• Physical ability to perform standing, bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 lbs.

Transferable Skills:

If you have experience as a bilingual educator, child care provider, or teaching assistant, you may find your skills highly transferable to this position. Our ideal candidate will have a background in diverse educational settings or roles that involve bilingual communication, early childhood care, or collaborative team environments.
