Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Compliance Control Manager to work in our Compliance Department. Our team works a 9x80 schedule located out of our Idaho Falls facility with every Friday off. Hybrid work opportunities may be available for this position. You will report to the Department Manager. You will Manage, while focusing, in areas of functional expertise. Develop and establish operational policies within area managed. You may also participate in development of functional strategy Responsibilities Include:
- Manage activities of a broad functional area through non-exempt and exempt specialists. Provide direction to employees according to established policies and management guidance.
- Manage employees that perform similar or related tasks.
- May manage more than one shift or department and subordinate managers.
- Develop and administer budgets, schedules, and performance standards for the organizational unit.
- Take actions to manage costs related to a section.
- Manage routine operational plans.
- Help develop overall goals and long-term goals of the department .
- Recommend changes to sub-unit, unit, or discipline policies.
- Work with subordinate supervisors and functional peer groups. Interaction requires interpreting and explaining information to audiences familiar with the subject.
- Gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree and 8 years of export compliance/control experience OR a master's degree and 5 years of experience
- Two years leadership/management experience
- Experience with contractual requirements and federal export control regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance and SCI, which requires US citizenship
Job Information: - The target pay range for this position is $115,000 - $175,000 annually. The full pay range is $89,652 - $215,160. At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.

- TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
