GC Realty & Development is hiring a Director of Residential Property Management.

We're looking for a high-impact, process-driven leader to direct 15-18 local and remote team mebers working out of our office here in Roselle. We are growing and we need people that want to lead and not have to be dragged into personal and professional growth.

The Mission: Lead the Property Management team(working with the maintenance team) to provide The GC Realty Experience for our 500+ clients we manage for.

You will:

• Lead and develop a team of 15+ across leasing, resident experience, customer service, and client management
• Use data-driven insights and KPIs to enhance performance, tenant satisfaction, and operational efficiency
• Optimize client portfolios while proactively mitigating risk and ensuring compliance
• Design and execute long-term strategies aligned with company-wide growth goals
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth operations across departments

What You'll Own

• Performance & Execution: Lead your managers with clarity and hold teams accountable to outcomes-not just activity.
• KPI & Operational Oversight: Monitor leasing metrics, tenant retention, client satisfaction, and process efficiency.
• Client Portfolio Management: Ensure all of our clients receive strategic, financially aligned service delivery.
• Financial Stewardship: Own the P&L and ensure targets are not only met-but exceeded.
• Compliance Leadership: Mitigate risk and ensure adherence to RTLO and landlord/tenant regulations across jurisdictions.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Act as the bridge between property management and other operational teams.
• People Development: Mentor your team, champion engagement, and fuel career growth at every level.

What You Bring

• 5-10 years of experience in residential property management leadership
• Strong working knowledge of Illinois landlord/tenant law, RTLOs, and regulatory compliance
• Proven success overseeing teams of 10+ and managing departmental P&L
• Deep understanding of operational KPIs and workforce performance data
• Strategic vision with experience designing and executing long-term plans
• A current Illinois Broker's License (required)
