Job Description

Customer Service Firearms Specialist Location Henderson, NV (Calico Ridge area) :

The Customer Service Firearms Specialist will provide exceptional support to customers via inbound calls and emails, responding to inquiries and assisting members with product and service information. Firearms industry experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers via phone and email to provide product and service support.
  • Process and verify orders for retail, dealer, and distributor customers.
  • Maintain and update customer records as needed.
  • Address customer concerns and ensure appropriate solutions are provided.
  • Escalate complex inquiries to a supervisor when necessary.
  • Promote additional accessories and services to customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, Production, and Shipping/Receiving teams.
  • Adhere to all Hogue Tool & Machine Inc. policies, programs, and procedures.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Firearms product knowledge is required.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the firearms/outdoor industry.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent business experience (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of customer service or inside telesales experience.
  • 1-3 years of demonstrated firearms product knowledge or aptitude.
  • Typing speed of 40 WPM required; 50-60 WPM preferred.
  • Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • Computer proficiency, including MS Office applications.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable handling, assembling, and shooting various firearms.
  • Military or law enforcement experience is a plus.

Location & Commitments

  • Full-time, permanent position located at a facility in Henderson, NV
  • Standard: 8-hour shift
  • In-office work schedule: 5 days per week.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Eligibility Requirements

  • Pass pre-employment medical physical and drug screening.
  • Clear a Federal Criminal Background Check (ATF permit requirement).
  • Provide documentation of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
