Job Description

Star Nursing has Urgent Needs for CNA's


Facility: Psych Facility


Location: Selinsgrove, PA


Start/Orientation Date: TBD


Shifts: 8/hrs/ All Shifts Available (Mornings, Evenings, Nights)


Contract: 8 Weeks


Needs: Number of CNAs = 15

  • 5 for each shift
Note: Priority to take Weekend Doubles.


***The facility needs someone who is fully vaccinated


Training is 3 weeks M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. Upon completion staff are assigned 2 week cycle with every other weekend off.


While Uber/Lyft are available, please set candidates expectations that there are times they might encounter difficulty finding or booking a ride. It would be advisable to either bring a car or rent car.


Pay Rates:


Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):


No housing - Local: $32/hr


With housing (50+ miles away from permanent): $22/hr


Housing stipend: $12/hr (taxable) + $880 (tax-free) $1360/40hrs (12/22)


Over 40hrs=$32/hr base $48/hr OT


Responsibilities:
  • Responsible and accountable for assisting lead work, development, delivery and
monitoring of daily services in the areas of self-care, socialization and health


maintenance as specified in each person's Individual Support Plan (IHP/ISP) with


overall coordination and direction coming from the Residential Services Aide
  • Supervisor (R) in conjunction with guidance and instruction from the Residential Service
  • Worker (RSW) and Residential Services Supervisor (RSS) and/or other program staff on
the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Assists in the implementation of each ISP by conducting specified Support Plans/Actions
in order to maximize the delivery of Active Treatment.
  • Assists with monitoring and revision of each individual's IHP/ISP by recording/reporting
required information regarding Training Plans/Supplemental Procedures in order to


maximize effectiveness of services toward meeting the individual's most pressing needs.
  • Records information in assigned individuals' unit records in order to document and



communicate information to other members of the team.


Requirements:
• Resume - with a minimum of 6 months of long-term care experience
• C.N.A- PA license (in good standing)
• Current - BLS/CPR
• 2- current references (supervisors)
• 2- step PPD/TB QuantiFERON (within the last 6 months)
• Agency Questionnaire - Southwestern Veterans Center
• COVID screening and testing consent form
• COVID Vaccination documentation
• COVID Declination
• Free from Communicable Disease
• IT Resource user agreement form
• Current physical (within the last 12 months)
• MMR, Varicella, Hep B- Vaccination or declined
• PA- Police - criminal background check
• Must be able to pass background/urine drug screen (Within the last 6 Months)
