About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Communications and Marketing Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping and amplifying its global influence. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic communications plan that elevates the company's reputation, visibility, thought leadership, and brand. This includes overseeing all internal and external communications efforts, such as media relations, content creation, crisis communication, and digital communications. The role also involves leading a team of communications professionals, collaborating with senior leadership, faculty, staff, and external partners, and ensuring that all communication efforts are aligned with the company's mission and strategic priorities. Applicants for the Chief Communications and Marketing Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 7-10 years' of experience in communications, including at least 5 years' in a leadership or management role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic communications, media relations, digital media, and crisis communication, as well as exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Experience in team management, particularly in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and a background in higher education, especially business schools, are strongly preferred. The role requires the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, engaging messages, and a familiarity with digital communications platforms, analytics, and social media strategies.
