Joe's Art Time, LLC seeks a creative and compassionate Art Therapist or Creative Arts Therapist to join our team. Must have graduated from a master's art therapy program and have the potential to achieve the ATR registration and BC Board Certification or the REAT certification.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or higher in Art Therapy.
• Must have experience working with children and adult populations.
• Experience developing and implementing art therapy directives and protocols
• Must complete training from and work under the supervision of a credentialed art therapist.
• Administrative and social media marketing experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and can commute up to 2 hours to facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead art therapy art-making sessions.
• Prep themes and supplies for art-making sessions.
• Establish procedures to follow in group sessions.

Required Skills & Abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must understand best practices within the field of Art Therapy and Arts in Health.
• Must be able to complete a Level 2 Background check. Provide physical to work in hospital settings.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday from 10:30 am-5:30 pm and Saturdays 11 am to 3 pm as needed

Physical Requirements:

• Must have a valid Florida Class “E” Driver’s License or equivalent issued by another state by date of application.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate $21-$26 depending on experience and qualifications.
• Mileage Reimbursement.
