Job Description

Rate: $19.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our adjacent apartment communities totaling 528 units conveniently located near DFW airport and Irving mall, with easy access to Hwy 183 and Hwy 161, George Bush Turnpike, and Beltline! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• At least 6 months of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community, commercial building, or single-family residences.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
• Apartment maintenance experience a plus. 
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. 

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Required License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License in the state where the property is located, or a neighboring state in proximity to the property where applicable.
