As a Workers' Compensation Claim Consultant , you’ll be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and adjusting workers’ compensation claims in the state of California. You’ll manage a multi-account desk with a focus on delivering timely, high-quality service in compliance with California WC laws and CCMSI standards. You will report to our Las Vegas, NV office but work remotely, and your performance will be measured through audit scores and client feedback.

This is not an HR, benefits, safety, or manufacturing management role. We are seeking an insurance claims professional with hands-on California workers’ compensation adjusting experience. You must have directly investigated, reserved, litigated, and settled WC claims as an adjuster or adjuster supervisor within an insurance carrier, third-party administrator (TPA), or similar claims-handling environment.
Handle all aspects of CA workers’ compensation claims from start to finish, including investigation, reserving, litigation management, and settlement.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation and correspondence in compliance with audit requirements.
Work with PEO clients, injured workers, providers, and legal teams to resolve claims efficiently and within best practice guidelines.
Ensure timely indemnity payments and strong file quality.
Participate in client meetings, reviews, or hearings as needed.
Handle complex claims with minimal supervision.
Adhere to California regulatory requirements and SIP standards.
Minimum 5 years of California workers’ compensation claims handling experience.
SIP designation or Experienced California Adjuster Certificate required or ability to obtain within the first 60 days of employment.
Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
