Position Overview

We are always accepting ambitious, experienced WordPress Developer and Designer applications to join our collaborative team. This individual will design and build intuitive, performant user interfaces that will make people want to understand and care about our projects. You will have the opportunity to be on the frontline and gain experience with cutting-edge technologies as you help shape the direction our company takes with interactive design and techniques.

Ideal Candidate

• Lives in the Twin Cities area
• Can come into our office on an as-needed basis
• Demonstrates work experience as a designer and proficiency in writing code in a professional environment
• Good understanding of UX/UI best practices for marketing websites and eagerness to stay abreast of the latest trends
• Enjoys pushing the boundaries on design with the user in mind
• Ability to both give and receive feedback effectively

Requirements

• 3 Years Minimum WordPress Development Experience
• Strong Understanding of Custom Post Types & Taxonomies
• Proficient in Theme Customization
• Highly Proficient with HTML and CSS
• Basic knowledge of Git
• Highly Proficient with Cross-Browser Compatibility and Responsive, Mobile-first Design
• Ability to estimate time needed to develop projects
• Ability to work on an existing WordPress codebase that utilizes Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
• Proficient Using a Wide Range of WordPress Plugins and 3rd-party Integrations
• Proficient with Shared Hosting Environments, FTP, and cPanel
• Highly proficient in Adobe XD (or similar such as Sketch)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously with a sense of urgency
• Ability to quickly adjust priorities to respond to pressing demands, and work well under pressure
• Effective Verbal and Written Communications Skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
• Works Well Independently as well as in a Collaborative Team Environment
• Self-motivated with the Ability to Learn Quickly
• Strong Attention to Detail

Bonus Skills

• Experience using Photoshop or Illustrator
• Headless/Decoupled CMS
• Custom WordPress dashboards, login, and admin

This is a full-time position. This is not a remote position.
