Job Description
Weekend position, possibly moving to every other weekend in a few months. Candidate will be available Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and also may be able to fill in for sick or vacation
Seeking a friendly, professional receptionist/scheduler/contact lens dispenser. The position includes, but is not limited to patient scheduling, patient check-in, check-out (collecting fees for services), patient pre-testing, contact lens instruction for new wearers, dispensing and maintaining contact lens inventory.
Familiarity with contact lenses, pre-testing equipment , and HIPPA is desirable but we will train a suitable candidate.
A friendly and efficient telephone manner is essential. You must be able to converse in a caring and respectful way to determine the patient's needs and convey specific information to the patient. Attention to detail is a must!
Must be able to handle: walk-ins, interruptions to routine, and multi tasking.
