We are looking for a dedicated and personable Weekend Medical Receptionist to join our team in Taunton, Massachusetts. This is a contract position that requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various administrative tasks in a medical setting. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in medical reception and be comfortable working nights and weekends.

Responsibilities:
• Verify patient eligibility and insurance coverage to ensure accurate documentation.
• Greet and check in visitors promptly while maintaining a welcoming and detail-focused environment.
• Process payments and provide clear explanations regarding billing inquiries.
• Utilize relevant systems, including Inovalon, to manage patient information and workflows effectively.
• Handle inbound calls, address patient inquiries, and schedule appointments as needed.
• Assist with insurance referrals and verifications, including familiarity with Mass Medicaid processes.
• Participate in onsite training to enhance familiarity with organizational systems and protocols.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations.• Proven experience in customer service, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as required.
• Familiarity with insurance verification and Mass Medicaid processes.
• Proficiency in handling administrative tasks such as payment processing and record management.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Experience using medical systems like Inovalon or similar platforms.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
