Salary: $70,000 - $80,000

JLAN Solutions is a Washington, DC-based woman-owned government consulting firm dedicated to delivering top-tier solutions for federal government contracts. We're a small team of employees and are seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team on a full-time basis.

The Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of a team of 13 laborers at Social Security Administration (SSA) facilities. This role is critical in ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and in accordance with the SSA contract requirements. The Supervisor will be responsible for understanding and applying the Collective Bargaining Agreement, maintaining effective communication with the laborers, federal employees, and ensuring that all operations comply with SSA guidelines.

Location: This is a fully on-site role and requires the employee to work in a warehouse environment M-F.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee the Contractor’s operations at SSA facilities, ensuring that all assignments/job orders received from the SSA Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) or their designated alternate are executed correctly and timely
• Ensure that personnel are available and present during assigned working hours and that all tasks are completed as directed
• Provide direct supervision to a team of 13 laborers, ensuring that all tasks such as loading/unloading furniture, assembling/disassembling equipment, delivering packages, and other labor-related services are carried out efficiently and safely
• Assign tasks to laborers based on service request forms or verbal instructions received from the SSA COR
• Fully understand and ensure compliance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement, applying its terms to daily operations
• Communicate effectively with federal employees, addressing any concerns or issues that arise during the course of work
• Notify the SSA COR or their designated alternate immediately if there are any changes in planned work requirements or if any issues arise that may impact job performance
• Serve as the Contractor’s primary representative at SSA, maintaining open lines of communication with the SSA COR and other relevant stakeholders
• Provide regular updates on work progress and report any work stoppages or issues to the SSA COR or their designated alternate

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a federal contracting environment
• Strong understanding of Collective Bargaining Agreements and their application in daily operations
• Ability to manage and direct a team of laborers, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and safely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working on government contracts, particularly within the Social Security Administration or similar agencies
• Familiarity with SSA procedures and requirements
