Warehouse And Operations Assistant

Deliver supplies to vessels, coordinate all shipping and receiving. Organize and track inventory. Manage and organize warehouse, shop, and perform all other duties as assigned by Centerline Gulf Management team.

Responsibilities

• Run parts and various errands to assist Operations and Engineering.
• Assist in facility maintenance.
• Housekeeping services for warehouse.
• Organize and track inventory.
• Safe operations of company vehicles and forklifts.
• Create and maintain a maintenance program for Centerline Gulf Fleet vehicles.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
• Ability to work with office staff and vessel crewmembers.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
• Valid State driver license and clean driving record.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid TWIC card within 45 days of hire.
• Bilingual preferred

Job Condition and Environment

• Occasionally required to board tugs and barges in a safe manner with proper PPE.
• Work in warehouse, maintenance yard and onboard vessels in all weather conditions.

Expected Hours of Work

• Normal office hours are 0800 to 1700 Monday through Friday.
