About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, HR Business Partner to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for consulting with business unit management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's business needs. This role involves advising on a range of HR matters, including performance management, succession planning, and employee engagement. The VP, HR Business Partner will also work closely with business units on growth strategies, provide HR guidance on decision-making, and ensure the execution of HR initiatives. Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience, ideally in the entertainment industry. The role requires a strong understanding of HR functions such as compensation, benefits, training and development, and employee relations, as well as knowledge of CA labor law. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, and possess excellent business acumen, communication, and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities also include executive coaching, collaboration with senior management on HR and business initiatives, and acting as a liaison between employees and HR functions.
