Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - Playa Vista, CA

Employment Type: Full-Time.

Facility type: Outpatient.

Medical Specialty : Urgent Care/ Pain Management.

Shifts: Days (40 hours/week) with overtime allowed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our outpatient urgent care team in Playa Vista, CA. The ideal candidate will have a background in urgent care and a strong interest or certification in pain management, though pain certification is preferred, not required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centred care in an outpatient urgent care setting
• Conduct assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate treatment plans
• Perform minor in-office procedures such as wound care, laceration repair, injections, and abscess drainage
• Occasionally, provide care via telemedicine as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner in the state of California
• Experience in urgent care or a similar outpatient setting is preferred
• Pain management certification is a plus, but not required
• Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills

Compensation & Benefits:
