Job Details

• The Pharmacy Manager serves as the Pharmacist in Charge as defined by the State Board of Pharmacy, and reports to the Market Director of Pharmacy.
• Responsible for supervision of daily departmental work activities and assigned staff; including work schedules and assignments.
• Serves as a pharmacist and carries out the dispensing and clinical functions of that job description.
• Develops and implements systems and processes to ensure regulatory compliance, continuous quality assurance and performance improvement, and staff workflows.
• Acts as a resource to staff regarding education, orientation, and standard operating procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must have 3 years recent managerial experience in pharmacy, preferably in a hospital setting with inpatient pharmacy management experience.
• Understanding of Joint Commission standards and Sterile Compounding standards.
• Must have BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Must have Indiana Pharmacy license.

Schedule Information

• Shifts will be 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Saturday and Sunday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Holidays 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM; scheduled as needed per department needs.
• Rotating on-call.
