Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring Epic experience and a VA or compact RN license.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Work in a hospital-based Progressive Care Unit with general medicine and hospitalist patients
• Patient ratio currently 1:5 with a goal of 1:4
• Scheduled for 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Floating required to other PCU and Med Surg units as needed
• EPIC is the electronic medical record used
• All requested time off must be submitted up front and approval for Christmas off cannot be granted
• Travelers are required to work at least one holiday per 13-week assignment, except during winter holidays when two holidays are required
• Candidates living within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted as travelers
• Candidates living 50-99.9 miles away or less than 50 miles have specific eligibility and extension limitations
• Prior employees must have at least a one-year break before returning as a traveler
• Facility modules and Epic training included in orientation

• Active VA or compact RN license required
• Epic charting experience required
• Minimum two professional references required for consideration
• Must provide a copy of driver's license and Social Security number
