Job Title- Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology

Duration- 13 weeks
Shift time- Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 18:00)
Job Description- \t - Assess patients before procedures, including medical history, allergies, and vital signs.
\t - Educate patients and families about procedures, risks, and post-care instructions.
\t - Monitor and manage patient conditions during and after procedures.
\t - Assist interventional radiologists and technologists during procedures such as angiography, biopsies, drain placements, embolization, and catheter insertions.
\t - Prepare and administer sedation, analgesia, and contrast agents as needed.
\t - Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper infection control measures.
\t - Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' responses.
\t - Continuously assess hemodynamic stability, oxygen levels, and pain management.
\t - Recognize and respond to complications or emergencies (e.g., allergic reactions, bleeding, respiratory distress)

\t - Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring Required
\t - Professional Knowledge and Skills
\t - Interpretation/Management of Dysrhythmias Required
\t - Pressure Ulcer Assessment/Prevention Required
\t - Radiation and Laser Safety Required
\t - Richmond Agitation-Sedation Scale Required
\t - Sheath Removal and Monitoring Required
\t - Vascular Closure Systems (Parclose, Star Close) Required
Qualifications & Requirements: \t - Documentation: EPIC
\t - Certifications: ACLS, BLS
\t - 1 year experience required
\t - Accepts 1st time travelers
\t - Call Required: Yes
\t - Weekend shifts required: as needed
