Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for night shifts, requiring an active AZ or compact license and recent charge nurse experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

• Position is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts with flexibility to work days, weekends, and holidays as needed
• May be required to work up to 48 hours per week
• Travelers may occasionally float to other qualified departments and could take a patient load or assist with tasks
• Orientation is provided on Mondays only
• Flexibility is required as scheduling needs may change
• Requesting time off for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s is not permitted
• A maximum of 2 shift call offs is allowed during the contract
• Housing information is available upon request

\n \n Requirements\n

• Active AZ or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience
• Charge nurse experience required
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Conscious Sedation certification required (can be obtained through the facility for a fee)
• Must be able to meet orientation deadlines
