TIG Welder


Shift: 1st 7a-4pm


Schedule: Monday- Friday weekends and OT as needed


Position Description:

• 5+ years of metal finishing & polishing experience
• Ability to read, understand, and verify blueprint drawing/machining requirements
• Knowledge of machining various metals including stainless steel, steel, aluminum, along with understanding of finishing/polishing expectations in architectural applications
• Ability to use inspection tools- micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc
• to verify dimensional accuracy against drawings
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs

Essential Functions and Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpreted drawings.
• Sets up and operate fabricating machinery (saws, drill press, metal rollers and
  other power tools and equipment).
• Sets up jigs and welds parts in place.
• Operates machines and uses hand tools and power tools to secure parts.
• Self-motivated.
• Performs quality, accurate and timely work
• Maintains work area organized and clean.
• Determines the appropriate welding equipment or method based on
  requirements.
• Operates a grinder to prep parts for welding
• Maintains equipment and does not compromise safety.
• Deftness and attention to detail.
• Fitting experienced.
• Test and inspects welded surface for flaws.
• Competence in Print reading.
• Proficiency in basic math.
• All in house training required to be able to be a productive team member.
