GENERAL ASSOCIATE II (Eastside-PT)

The position of Family Thrift Store General Associate offers an exciting opportunity for a result-orientated individual to support the mission of Life Network. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, capable of multitasking, and enthusiastic about the physical aspects of receiving and processing donated goods. This position will collaborate closely with Shift Supervisors and under their leadership in the absence of the directors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet donors warmly and receive donated items, ensuring a positive donor experience
• Efficiently process and sort donated items to meet FTS standards for quality and suitability
• Price merchandise items accurately and prepare for placement on the sales floor
• Provide excellent customer service to shoppers and maintain a welcoming atmosphere
• Work on the sales floor and operate the cash register
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store
• Participation by all staff is required at Life Network's major events

EXPERIENCE

• High school graduate
• Thrift store experience a plus

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong advocate for the sanctity of life issues
• Possesses Christian testimony with evidence of Christian maturity in personal and professional life
• Active commitment to a local church
• A passion for the ministry accomplished through Life Network and a heart for reaching the lost of our community/world with the Gospel
• Exhibits initiative, teamwork, and a goal-orientated mindset in accomplishing tasks
• Flexible and adaptable in handling unpredictable situations
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs. and performing physical tasks associated with store maintenance
• Holds a valid driver's license with a clean record, capable of meeting transportation needs as required for the position

CLASSIFICATION

Part-time for 16 hours per week. Pay range: $14.81 - $17.00 per hour. Scheduled hours are Fridays and Saturdays. Reports to Thrift Store Manager.
