Software Tester – U.S. Intelligence Community Support

Location: Reston, VA or Washington, D.C. Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Peraton is seeking experienced Software Testers to join our team supporting a global national intelligence program. This role focuses on delivering mission-critical software solutions in support of U.S. defense and intelligence missions.

Role Overview

As a Software Tester, you’ll support Integrated Collaboration (IC) Spaces , enabling analyst collaboration across secure environments. You’ll bring expertise in manual software testing, AGILE development, and Linux-based systems to ensure high-quality, mission-critical deliverables.

Qualifications

Required:

• A Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree.
• Active TS/SCI OR TS with SCI eligibility with ability to obtain a polygraph.
• Experience with Acceptance, Integration, Regression and Functional testing of software applications on classified and unclassified environments.
• Experience with software development approaches in a Linux environment.
• Experience utilizing AGILE development processes and tools.
• Experience with all test paths (positive and negative), front-end, back-end, interface, regression and performance testing using multiple browsers and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred:

• Experience with requirements analysis/validation.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Postgres, SQL, XML.
• Software development test experience in a Virtual environment such as AWS
• Experience with Integrated Collaboration (IC) Spaces.
• Experience within the DIA (Defense Intelligence Agency) or other DoD security domains.

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
