We are looking for an experienced and driven Senior Tax Manager to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Supervise and review a variety of tax returns, including individual, corporate, S corporations, and partnerships, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct in-depth research on federal and state tax regulations to provide expert guidance and consultation.

• Lead and mentor tax staff, cultivating a collaborative and respectful team culture focused on growth.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while addressing their tax planning and compliance needs.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes by participating in ongoing training and continuing education programs.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on complex tax issues, providing technical support to both clients and internal teams.

• Manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.

• Contribute to the development of efficient workflows and best practices within the tax department.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for process improvement and team development.

• Handle special projects related to tax planning and entity formation as needed.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on tax management.
• Extensive knowledge of partnerships and S corporations, including their unique tax requirements.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tax projects and lead teams effectively.
• Strong proficiency in tax software such as CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax.
• Experience preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns and annual income tax provisions.
• Familiarity with entity formation processes and associated tax implications.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting client relationships.
• CPA designation or equivalent certification required.
