As a Permanent Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be a vital member of our team in the Engineering industry. This role is focused on managing and overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to transportation. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our supply chain, leading to cost savings and increased efficiency. This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

1. Oversee the supply chain process, including procurement, material planning, warehousing, and transportation.
2. Generate and manage purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
3. Utilize SAP software to manage supply chain operations and generate reports.
4. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements in the supply chain process.
5. Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure the availability of necessary materials and components.
6. Coordinate with suppliers and transport providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
7. Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess.
8. Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
9. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms and prices.
10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Supply Chain Coordinator or in a similar role in the Engineering industry.
2. Proven experience in procurement, material planning, warehousing, and transportation.
3. Proficient in generating and managing purchase orders.
4. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement cost-saving measures in the supply chain process.
5. Experience with SAP or similar supply chain management software.
6. Strong knowledge of the manufacturing process and material requirements.
7. Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
8. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret supply chain data.
9. Excellent communication and coordination skills.
10. A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
