Kids Of Valor Academy in Pasadena, TX is looking for one summer camp teacher to join our team. We are located on 3501 Red Bluff Road. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and engaged.

Responsibilities

1. Child Supervision: Supervise children throughout the day, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
2. Activity Planning: Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, games, crafts, and educational experiences for children.
3. Daily Routine: Follow and maintain a structured daily schedule, including snack times, playtime, rest periods, and other activities.
4. Behavior Management: Foster positive behavior and social skills among children, intervening as needed to address conflicts or behavioral issues.
5. Communication: Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's activities, progress, and any concerns that may arise.
6. Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety protocols, including proper hygiene practices, first aid procedures, and emergency preparedness.
7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other camp staff members to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for all campers.
8. Supervision of Assistants: Provide guidance and support to any assistant teachers or aides assigned to your group.
9. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and any notable observations regarding children's behavior or development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children in a daycare, camp, or educational setting is preferred. Must be 25 years old to drive the bus to field trips.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Certification in CPR and first aid is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, creativity, and a passion for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
