Job Title: Interim Staff Accountant

Hourly rate : $45+ depending one experience

Job Description: Jefferson Wells is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Interim Staff Accountant to join our team for a 6-month assignment. This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working both remotely and in-office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing month-end close activities, including account reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, account analysis, and financial statement preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities such as account reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
• Conduct thorough account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in accounting, particularly in month-end close processes.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, D365, NetSuite; Oracle experience is a plus.
• Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
