Home Health - Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

MedCare Pediatric Group is seeking a passionate Home Health Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide, evaluate, and implement speech therapy services to pediatric clients. Join our amazing team today and become part of the MedCare family!

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school program of Speech Language Pathology Assistant- new grads are welcomed to apply
• Licensed to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) in Texas by anticipated start date
• Experience in pediatrics and bilingual are a plus but necessarily required

Job Duties:

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized treatment plans for pediatric clients with communication disorders
• Identify functional speech defects and establishes a plan of care to improve patient’s function
• Implement programs to promote the development of communication skills
