Job Title: Specialist, Email & Digital Marketing
Location: Fully Remote (U.S.-based)
Salary Range: $67,000 - $75,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Specialist, Email & Digital Marketing to join our growing Audience Growth team. In this role, you'll play a key part in engaging customers and driving both acquisition and retention through compelling email marketing campaigns. You'll be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing email content, automation workflows, and A/B tests to enhance the customer journey.

This position works closely with teams across Live Events, Editorial, Data Intelligence, and Advertising Operations to build and refine our in-house email program. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and a passion for digital marketing. You will report directly to the Manager of Email Acquisition & Retention.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, schedule, and deliver email content and assets across various brands in a timely manner.
Develop email campaigns designed to engage users and achieve team and company goals.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices, and implement relevant updates.
Use graphic design tools to create visually engaging media for email campaigns.
Implement HTML/CSS for email development, using existing templates and creating new ones as needed.
Manage email workflows, calendars, and campaign kickoffs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage email timelines and requirements.
Ensure that emails are mobile-responsive, follow best practices, and render properly across all devices and email clients.
Proofread, conduct quality assurance, and manage scheduling and final delivery of emails.
Lead testing initiatives to optimize email performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Provide guidance on email best practices and explore new technology to innovate and create impactful content.
Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

Required Experience:

Experience with email marketing and email deployment tools.
Strong skills in crafting engaging subject lines, email copy, and design that aligns with brand standards.
Ability to analyze campaign metrics (e.g., open rates, click-through rates) to optimize performance.
Knowledge of email marketing regulations (CAN-SPAM, privacy regulations, data management).

Preferred Experience:

HTML/CSS coding for email.
Familiarity with tools such as Google Suite, Asana, Microsoft Office, and email service platforms (Iterable, Digioh).

Additional Qualifications:

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
A desire to innovate and continuously improve email processes.

Details:

Fully remote (U.S.-based).
Occasional travel may be required.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Must be available to work in alignment with the Eastern Time Zone (80%).
