Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract opportunity in Everett, WA is for a Special Education Teacher at an elementary school. The position spans a full semester, starting ASAP through June 17, 2026. The role requires a current Washington state teaching license in Special Education and offers valuable experience working with a caseload of approximately 22.5 students per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instructional support to students with diverse learning needs in an elementary school setting
• Manage a caseload of students, providing tailored lesson plans and interventions
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Utilize Wednesdays for planning, IEP meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports for all assigned students

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and valid Washington state teaching license in Special Education required
• Preferred experience teaching preschool students; candidates with K-2 elementary experience will also be considered
• Strong organizational and communication skills for effective collaboration within the school community
• Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM, with no students on Wednesdays
